They know how to reach people and which medium is buzzing through time to time.
As, Viber is one of the top major Data messaging applications, BuzzFeed has recently launched its own Public chat channel in it. BuzzFeed team is serious with the Public chat option and said that their social media team and editors will contribute to Public Chat for interaction with the community. They will reply to the question of Viber community in that chat.
